A Successful Business Should Give You More Life, Not Take It Away

I am on a mission to change the way ambitious business founders think about leadership. I believe that no one should have to sacrifice family life to build a successful business. By helping founders develop confident leadership, empowered teams and clear systems, I enable them to build profitable businesses that continue to grow without relying on them every minute of every day.

My vision is to prove that commercial success and a rich family life are not competing goals - they are both possible through great leadership. The measure of a successful business isn't how indispensable the founder becomes, it's how confidently the business succeeds when they're not in the room.

I am an experienced business coach who believes that successful businesses should support the life you want to live, not stand in the way of it. Drawing on decades of experience building, scaling and leading businesses, I help ambitious founders gain the clarity, confidence and leadership skills they need to grow profitable businesses that are not wholly dependent on them.

Known for my calm, warm approach and my ability to ask exactly the right questions at the right time, I create an environment where business owners feel safe to think openly, challenge their assumptions and discover the solutions that are right for them.

Growing up in a family of educators, I developed a lifelong love of learning, curiosity and independent thinking. Educated at a Montessori school I was surrounded by the values of education, personal development and believing in peoples potential from an early age.

My commercial career has given me a breadth of experience from setting up a business unit for an international company which I built to $10m to co-founding my own business which grew to £8m and experiencing the realities of entrepreneurship. These experiences have given me genuine empathy - the highs of rapid growth,. the challenges of difficult decisions and the resilience to reinvent when circumstances change.

What Travel Taught Me About

People, Culture and Growth

Travel didn't just show me the world; it taught me how to understand people.

Working in the travel industry gave me a front row seat to human behaviours. I experienced different cultures, expectations, communication styles and ways of thinking. I learned quickly that what motivates one person can be completely different for another; and that real connection comes from listening, adapting, and meeting people where they are. This became one of the most valuable foundations of my business journey.

Whether it’s leading a team, or working with clients; success always comes back to people. Understanding what drives them, what holds them back, and how to bring out their best. Travel gave me that lens early on. It taught me empathy, awareness, and how to build trust across different perspectives - skills that no textbook, classroom or AI could replicate. And it’s those same skills that underpin how I help business owners grow today.

Escorted a group of families to Finland to meet Father Christmas and was then responsible for the aftermath of the hotel burning down......

Went to Tokyo for a conference with my international colleagues and took part in some traditional customs; as well as a trip to Disneyland!
